Minamicon 2007 con report
Minami was a blast! By this time I was a fully fledged member of The baka rangers (I am such a dork ;_; I dunno how I get myself into these things!) and I knew most of the guys well by name. I managed to convince one of my long time internet friends Sebastian to come along which was also awesome meeting him in person. Minami was a totally different atmosphere to Amecon, but totally charming in it's own way. It's a very cosy con, it was great chilling at the bar, even if the bar staff were total tools.
It was also great being able to go down the lift and being right in the convention, you could spend the whole con never leaving the building if you wanted to! Which was great for cosplay reasons. However we did leave a couple of times, one for a great dinner (which I got free hehe) and once more to go see Hot Fuzz (I'd seen it before, but I definitely wasn't complaining! Anyone who knows me knows I'm a total Pegg fan). The booze run was amusing, they filled the entire bath tub with cans of beer. I'm glad I wasn't sharing their room. :P
